A Blissful Working Relationship

One of our highlights from last year was reuniting with one of our favorite clients, Dr. Michelle Pennie, to market her new practice, Bliss Dermatology. With two locations in the Sarasota market, Bliss is the leading provider of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with exceptional care for its patients. 

Branding Starts with Core Values

One of the things we love the most about working with Dr. Pennie and her team is sitting in the marketing seat on her leadership team, using the EOS methodology, which we use for our own company. One of our first tasks was to develop a brand platform which also allowed us to complete their VTO, specifically by refining their core values

Implementing a Strategic Marketing Plan

Next we created their marketing strategy and tactical plan, implementing a multi-media approach deploying digital advertising, print advertising, content marketing—including social media, email marketing, and SEO efforts to improve the website we inherited from another agency. 

Marketing Results

Running on EOS means we measure our progress weekly with our Scorecard. Growth for website traffic, social media followers, and email database were some of our initial KPIs. In November, we launched a comprehensive marketing campaign for Healthy Skin Month which included patient education, encouraged annual skin checks, and an enter to win contest. When we compared month over month, we grew social following by 9%, website traffic by 23%, and saw a significant increase in 5 start Google reviews! 

Your Current Customers are Your Best Customers

In just 1.5 years in business, Bliss has helped more than 5,000 patients with their dermatological concerns—which is a lot of traffic coming through their office on a daily basis. Because their team provides exceptional patient care, there was a great opportunity to get more business from their existing customers. We created multiple touch points to communicate a variety of messages while patients are in the office. This ranged from marketing messages on the back of the exam room doors and bio cards on each provider to “review us on Google” requests. 

Keep the Bliss Going

As with all of our clients, the marketing tactical plan is always evolving. As we move into the new year, we are stepping up our marketing efforts to increase referral business from other physicians and preparing to launch exciting new services lines to complement the existing practice.
