While we’re not niche, we do have significant experience in the field of healthcare, including multiple dermatology practices. We began working with our most recent dermatologist, Dr. Sophia Reid, as she was starting up her own practice in Northern New Jersey. She is board-certified in dermatology and obesity medicine as well as being certified in integrative dermatology, helping patients get to the root cause of their issues.
In addition to medical and surgical dermatological services, Dr. Reid provides integrative, cosmetic, and aesthetic dermatology along with a growing list of wellness services such as weight management, with the goal of expanding into massage therapy and acupuncture. This brand has a lot to offer its patients, and we were up for the task!

The name itself—Skin Secrets Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Wellness—communicates the breadth of their health offerings. Dr. Reid specializes in treating skin of color, so we wanted to be sure we were visually representing diversity in all of our marketing communications. The goal was to ensure that the brand's visual identity reflected both the variety of services offered and the inclusive approach Dr. Reid brings to her practice.
Once the brand platform was established, our team developed mood boards to visually set the tone of the brand encompassing some “must haves” including the butterfly icon and the color of rose gold. A luxurious color palette combined with bold fonts, stunning photography, and unique graphical elements began to bring the brand to life.
With the physical location under construction for the first part of the year, Dr. Reid was limited as to how quickly she could add complementary services to her core practice. We had to do the same with the website, building it out as the practice grew which meant adding sections, pages, and blogs to provide information as well as increase SEO value.
While the practice has a wide variety of services offered, we focused on targeting dermatology patients as the practice opened, as Dr. Reid has a stellar reputation in this area of expertise. In order to appeal to Dr. Reid's previous patients as well as new ones, the messaging was crafted to reflect her reputation. As key messaging was being written, copy and headlines were elevated to inspire confidence and calmness.
With a target audience of women with higher income as well as a high health literacy, our marketing tactics needed to resonate with them both visually and through written components. Skin Secret’s brand character represented refined, bold, and aspirational, with a tone of voice that was both alluring yet approachable. So even a simple call to action needed to be more sophisticated.
We are excited to see Dr. Reid and Skin Secrets flourish as her practice and offerings continue to grow. And while we have worked with several other dermatologists, such as Bliss Dermatology + Wellness and Florida Dermatology Specialists, we’re proud of our ability to make each one unique.
